Madison Nicole Gibbs, last year’s Miss Black USA Pageant winner, took to Instagram to post a compelling photo with the caption, “We are proud to represent our respective communities, states, We PAGEANT with a PURPOSE!” In the recent photo, Gibbs is pictured posing with this year’s contestants, holding up a ‘Black power fist’ during their recent visit to the White House.
Madison Gibbs is a native of Greensboro, NC. She is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State university with a Bachelor’s in Speech Communications, and is currently a 2nd year law student at Howard University School of Law.

The Miss Black USA Pageant and Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation in Maryland that is committed to addressing the issues of health and education.
