Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, North Carolina is currently on lockdown after reports of gunshots being fired, according to area station WNCN.

Around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, 13 Aug 16, witnesses claimed they saw two men arguing in a food court, and saw one of them fire four times.  Antonio Richardson told The Associated Press that he saw two men who appeared to be in their early 20s arguing and that one of them began shooting.

Eight people were injured in the resulting stampede to leave the mall. The shopping mall is centered in an affluent area of Raleigh and was put on lockdown while helicopters buzzed overhead and numerous law enforcement vehicles swarmed the shopping area.
