Many may know of Instagram Famous, “Mrs. G.I. Jane” for her stunning looks and for her curves, but what some may not know is that she’s a cancer survivor. She reflects back to the days when she struggled with her hair loss while while undergoing treatment for cancer. She posted photos on IG of her hair loss and commented, “I’ll never forget patches in my hair as it was falling out shaving it making it cute & stylish because I was embarrassed learning how to beat my face so I wouldn’t look pale. Funny nobody remembers that they just see me surface deep now…”

Now, flaunting a bright smile and sparkling eyes, Dominique Williams aka Mrs. G.I. Jane currently juggles multiple jobs as a model, hostess, and one of Atlanta’s hottest bartenders.
She hails from Cincinnati, Ohio and attended college at Xavier University. While attending college, Mrs. G.I. Jane decided to enlist in the Army as an Information Management Specialist. After serving her country for three years, she was discharged for medical reasons and shortly after leaving the Army, she was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. [Scroll down to watch video]
Inspired by the fictional character Lieutenant Jordan O’Neil played by Demi Moore in the 1997 film “G.I. Jane” that told the story of the first woman to enter training in the Navy Special Warfare Group, Dominique Williams adopted the the alias, Mrs. G.I. Jane.
And just like her name, this dark and lovely model is an attention grabber that commands the spotlight. As a cancer survivor and a veteran, she has earned the respect of many and she’s definitely an inspiration for anyone facing a battle with cancer.
