James Wright went from singing about Patti LaBelle’s sweet potato pies on YouTube to singing with Patti LaBelle at Thanksgiving dinner.
Patti and James spent the holiday together, singing and eating the treat that united them in the first place. Instead of a traditional prayer over the feast, the duo blessed the food with a duet, Questlove said on Instagram.
