Blood, Sweat & Heels Star Daisy Lewellyn Passes Away from Cancer – USA Today – Daisy Lewellyn, a star of Bravo’s Blood, Sweat & Heels, has died of cancer, the network confirmed in statement Friday. She was 36.
“We are devastated to learn that Daisy Lewellyn … has passed away this morning after a battle with a rare form of cancer,” the statement said. “Daisy passed on in peace and filled with joy, surrounded by her family and friends.
“We are all saddened to lose this wonderful woman. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy is expressed.”
Lewellyn had been fighting liver cancer for two years. In a March 2015 interview with the website Madame Noire, the style expert said she was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in her bile ducts at age 34.
“It’s a super rare type of cancer. Like, nobody gets it. Leave it to me to get the exclusive, rare cancer,” she said.
Daisy Lewellyn’s Blood, Sweat & Heels co-stars have paid tribute to her after news broke on Friday that she passed away from cancer. After news of Daisy’s death was released, Mica Hughes, Melyssa Ford, Demetria Lucas, and Geneva Thomas, all of whom starred on the show’s two seasons alongside Daisy, paid tribute to her. Brie Bythewood, who was on season 1, and Chantelle Fraser and Arzo Anwar, who joined the show for its second season, also reacted publicly to the news.
I literally dreamed of her last nite… perhaps it was as she was saying goodbye to all of us. The shock is wearing off and full blown grief is setting in. I cannot believe Daisy is gone. My heart breaks for her family. Her light and spirit will be sorely missed. ❤?
