Elizabeth Ruiz and Von Miller have been battling it out in court over a sex tape that shows what really went down in Cancun in the month of June. To set the backdrop to the drama, we have to remind everyone that Von Miller was last year’s Super Bowl MVP and anyone following the sport of football probably could have seen this tackle and fumble coming.
In July 2016, Miller signed a new contract with the Broncos worth $114.5 million, but a month prior to signing the deal, Miller took a trip to Cancun.
According to court documents filed with a Los Angeles court, Miller rented a 11,500-square-foot beachfront residence and “engaged in consensual sexual intercourse” with Ruiz, an aspiring model/actress. Ruiz captured the action on her cell phone and now, according to The Smoking Gun, the Super Bowl MVP is trying to block Ruiz from shopping the sex tape around to the highest bidder.
In court docs obtained by the website — in which Miller is referred to as John Doe — Miller’s legal team alleged Elizabeth Ruiz wants “to be the next Kim Kardashian,” and has threatened to sell the explicit video unless the reigning Super Bowl MVP shells out $2.5 million.
It also says that when Miller asked her via text to delete the video, she replied, “Gotcha.” TMZ reports that a judge in Los Angeles “agreed” with Miller and issued a restraining order against Ruiz, preventing her from copying or distributing the video.
Below is some footage of Miller’s vacation in Cancun. Let’s hope that Ruiz and Miller put the matter to bed!
