Sevyn Streeter just released a new video to her single “Before I Do.” The track is the latest release from her highly anticipated “Girl Disrupted” album.
As always, Streeter entices fans with her songs that originate from experience, both personal and shared, as she believes music should convey emotions and experiences anyone can relate to. Streeter told Essence magazine that she is coming with a new view, and what sets this album apart from others is that she is not the same person she once was.
“I tackled a lot of the same subject matter, but the difference is I’m not the same person I was yesterday or the day, week, month, year before. We evolve. So my new music is from a new perspective. Less naive, more confident and it made me a better version of myself,” she said.
