Last spring, former pro basketball player turned model, Cole Woods and  models Joia Talbott and AJ Love each stripped down then slipped into  KenteKini swimsuits fashioned by designer, Red of  the Los Angeles based Red Star Swimsuit Collection .

Posing seated in the sand on the beaches of a far way land, the three ladies were captured in a timeless shot wearing the intricately handmade swimwear infused with African, Kente, Ankara, and dashiki cloth.   The photo went viral after Woods shared a post via Twitter.  Swimsuit fans and those intrigued with African inspired fashions just couldn’t get enough of the models and the swimsuits with authentic African prints.
