When you think of the Lakers, undoubtedly two names come to mind–Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant.   Well, now that Johnson has been hired as the President of Operations, the two legends will likely be teaming up again.

USA Today‘s Sam Amick reported Johnson is looking to bring Bryant back with an official role in the organization, one potentially connected to player relations.

During an edition of ESPN’s First Take on Feb. 14, Magic  Johnson explained  what he would do if  he was in a position of power with the Lakers. “First call I make if I’m in charge? Kobe Bryant,” Johnson said on Tuesday on ESPN’s “First Take.” “Because Kobe understands winning. He understands, also, these players. So I would call, ‘What role you want? If you’ve got a day, just give me that day. I’ll take that. Whatever time he has, I want him to come and be a part of it.” (The Orange County Register‘s Mark Medina)
