Harvard Graduate Students Held Their First Black Commencement Ceremony

This year, black graduate students at Harvard University found a reason to hold the first ever Black Commencement Ceremony which some feel may amplify racial tensions on college campuses.

Many of the speakers talked about the struggle to be black at Harvard and expressed that the ceremony was a way  of celebrating their shared experience as a group and not as a exclusion of others.
