According to WebTV42
Amber Dlaine McKinney Morgan, 25, was found asleep in her car on Interstate 805 in San Diego. She was arrested and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence.
A film crew captured the startling rescue of an allegedly drunk woman who passed out behind the wheel of her car in the middle of a Californian highway.
A cameraman from 10News was driving along Interstate Highway 805 near San Diego when he spotted the stationary black car sitting between two lanes.
He called police and headed to the car with his camera when there was a break in traffic, hoping to wake the driver.
Behind the wheel was 25-year-old Ambre Dlaine McKinney Morgan, pictured with her eyes closed and her head resting against the window, allegedly stone-drunk.
A California Highway Patrolman arrived and parked behind Ms Morgan’s car as it sat between the third and fourth lanes of the four-lane highway.
Officer Sergio Flores tried to wake Ms Morgan, aspiring journalism student at San Diego State University, by banging on her window, only to rouse her enough that she started rolling slowly down the road.
Stop the car!” the officer yelled before he was forced to smash the passenger window to put the vehicle in park and remove Ms Morgan.
When other officers arrived they arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence.
