Team USA Paralympic Sprinter, Paul Peterson’s Running Blades Stolen

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Paul Peterson III, 22, said thieves stole his clothing, championship medals and his running blades from Paul_Peterson_III2his apartment. His legs, as he calls them, refer to his running blades.

The Team USA track and field Paralympic sprinter has been preparing for an upcoming race. His training has been put to a halt, however, as he will not be able to train until he gets them back. “Three running legs! Took all my national championship medals. I mean you know medals, that I had just from over the years,” Peterson said Thursday.

The National Championships are in Minneapolis, Minnesota, June 26. HELP RAISE MONEY FOR NEW BLADES: www.gofundme.com/w9dz7q4
