Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova are the Highest-Paid Female Athletes –
Via BET.com: Forbes has released its list of the world’s highest-paid female athletes of 2015 and it’s no surprise that tennis’s golden child, Serena Williams, is near the top. Having earned $24.6 million from June 2014 to June 2015, Williams was ranked as the second highest-paid female athlete, just behind Maria Sharapova.
According to Forbes, Williams earned $11.6 million in winnings and $13 million from endorsements. The four-time Grand Slam champion has inked lucrative deals with Chase, Audemars Piguet and PepsiCo. Read more…
