(NFL) – Terrell Owens “A Football Life” aired Friday night on NFL Network. While promoting the in-depth look at his life this week, T.O. hopped on Philadelphia radio. Of course, with the Eagles‘ current struggles the former receiver — who helped carry Philly to a Super Bowlappearance — was asked if he could help if signed, even at 41 years old.
The Philadelphia Eagles rank 25th among NFL teams in passing offense, and former Eagles wideout Terrell Owens thinks he can help change that.
Speaking on the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show on Friday, the 41-year-old said he could “absolutely” assist the squad.
“Absolutely, yes,” Owens said. “No question, no question about that sir.”

PHILADELPHIA — Chip Kelly’s vision has not made the transition to reality after a quarter of the Philadelphia Eagles’ season.
Kelly signed two free agent running backs — DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews— to replace LeSean McCoy. In Kelly’s vision, Murray and Mathews would be more effective than McCoy in his offensive scheme. Their styles — Kelly described them as “downhill, one-cut” runners — would work better than McCoy’s tendency to approach the line tentatively, looking for a wider hole to open.
