Submit Your Stories!
Writers we’d love to hear from you.
As a guest writer, you have a unique opportunity to tap into the minds and hearts of our target audience in a fresh, innovative, and stimulating manner.
Chocolate Informed™ readers not only want to intellectually read information, our readers want to feel it and come away feeling invigorated! They want to be touched and inspired to make their own meaningful contributions to the world.
We welcome fresh ideas from new writers. However, it’s difficult for us to post your story—no matter how good the idea is—if it doesn’t fit into a specific category on our site. If you haven’t worked with us before, it’s best to start off familiarizing yourself with our categories, even if you’re an established writer. Pitch us an idea for longer featured pieces.
Send us ideas for specific sections in the magazine to email@example.com
Your chances of getting an assignment with us increase if you:
1) Develop your pitch following the format in the featured categories.
2) Explain why the proposed topic should be covered in a specific category.
Describe your idea in two to three paragraphs. Be sure to explain “why now” and tell us where the story fits into the magazine. Share a few sentences about your experience: What other publications do you write for?
What story topics interest you most? Convince us with great writing in your pitch. If your pitch is well written specifically for Chocolate Informed and written in a compelling way, we’ll be impressed—and will likely keep you in mind for future assignments.
So, GO AHEAD AND SUBMIT YOUR PITCH OR STORY.
It may take up to 2 or 3 days to get a response from an editor. If after a couple of days you don’t hear from us, we welcome a friendly follow-up e-mail.
